Description
Warm Parka is an updated version of a previous favorite – now with improved construction for even better warmth and comfort. The puffy, channel-stitched design has been refined to provide a more even distribution of padding and reduce the risk of cold spots. From size 40 and up, an extra channel has been added to provide even more consistent thermal protection and longer lifespan. The jacket is padded with a down-like synthetic filling made of 100% recycled polyester – a sustainable choice that keeps you warm all winter. It has an outer fabric that is wind and waterproof but does not have taped seams, so be cautious with heavy, prolonged precipitation.
The longer parka model has a practical zipper on the sides that makes it easy to open up at the bottom, for example when you need to sit down or get into the car. Four outer pockets provide plenty of space for what you need to keep close at hand: two zippered chest pockets and two side pockets with flaps and snap buttons. Inside, there is a mesh pocket for items like gloves or a hat. In one of the side pockets, there is a strap with reflective print that can be pulled out when needed. The jacket has an adjustable waist so you can vary between a straight silhouette or a more fitted silhouette. A wind flap both in front of and inside the zipper protects against cold air and helps retain warmth. Inside the collar, there is a soft section of brushed tricot that protects the chin from chafing and provides a comfortable feel against the skin. The jacket is 3-in-1 compatible. A fastening at the back of the neck allows you to attach a thinner lightweight jacket or vest under this fall and winter jacket. This allows you to wear the garments together in different ways and extend their use over a larger part of the season.
