Description
Bogda Parka from Everest is a lightly padded parka that is perfect for chilly autumn days and milder winter weather. It is lined with recycled synthetic padding that provides just the right amount of warmth without being too heavy. The outer fabric is waterproof with a water column of 10,000 mm and has fully taped seams that protect against both rain and wind. It also has a slight stretch that allows the jacket to move comfortably with the body – great when you're on the go. The hood can be adjusted both at the back and the front – the front adjustment is discreetly located on the inside. The front zipper is protected by a double storm flap: an inner one that keeps out cold air and protects the clothes underneath, and an outer one with snap buttons that keeps the weather out.
There are plenty of storage options. You get two large side pockets with flaps that open from the top – but they also have side openings with soft brushed tricot on the inside, perfect for warming your hands. At the top, there are also two zippered pockets with taped edges in reflective material, and inside the right chest pocket, there is a small mesh pocket that keeps your mobile phone in place. Under the storm flap, there is a hidden zippered pocket – handy when you want to access something quickly without opening the entire jacket. There is also a spacious mesh pocket on the inside. The cuffs are adjustable with Velcro and have an inner elastic cuff with a thumbhole – useful when you forget gloves or want to keep out the cold. Additionally, the cuffs have a fold-out detail in reflective material that can be unfolded when needed.
The jacket is 3-in-1 compatible. A fastening at the back of the neck allows you to attach a thinner lightweight jacket or vest under this autumn and winter jacket. This allows you to wear the garments together in different ways and extend their use over a larger part of the season.
