Elkins Function Parka is a lightly padded parka suitable for when the weather shifts between autumn chill, rain, and snow. It provides comfortable warmth without feeling heavy, making it just as comfortable on your way to work or studies as during a walk through the city. The waterproof outer fabric with fully taped seams keeps out rain, snow, and wind, while the slight stretch in the material allows the jacket to follow your movements naturally. This is a jacket where the details make a difference in everyday life. The spacious front pockets open from the top with flaps and are lined with soft, brushed tricot that feels nice when you want to warm your hands.
The zippered chest pockets provide quick access to items you use often. On the inside of the front wind flap, there is also a hidden zippered pocket where you can store your phone or other valuables without having to open the jacket. Inside, there is also a practical mesh pocket that offers extra storage options. The adjustable hood provides protection when the weather changes, and the two-way zipper makes it easy to adapt the jacket to your activity and temperature. Wind flaps in front of and behind the zipper keep out the cold and also protect the garments underneath from getting caught. The sleeve ends are adjustable with Velcro, and the elastic inner cuffs retain warmth. The sleeve ends also feature a detail in reflective material that can be folded out when needed. The jacket is 3-in-1 compatible. A fastening at the back of the neck allows you to attach a thinner lightweight jacket or vest under this jacket. This means you can wear the garments together in different ways and extend their use over a larger part of the season.
