Description
The Alpine Mips Helmet is a durable and comfortable ski and snowboard helmet designed to provide safety and comfort on the slopes. It features a tough outer shell with Impact Shell that protects against impacts and shocks, and an interior made of recycled EPS that helps absorb the force during falls. Inside, there is a soft lining made of recycled polyester that makes the helmet feel comfortable to wear – even during long days in the cold. The helmet is equipped with MIPS – a safety system that protects the brain during angled impacts, where rotational movements could otherwise cause serious injuries.
The MIPS layer in the helmet allows for a small movement between the helmet and the head, reducing the rotational force that would otherwise be transferred to the brain. The ventilation is carefully designed with twelve ventilation holes, four of which are adjustable so you can easily adapt the temperature to the weather and activity. The helmet has 3D-designed ear protectors that fit comfortably around the ears and help keep both warmth and the chin strap in place – without chafing or slipping. The size is easily adjusted with a dial at the back for a secure and personalized fit. A goggle holder at the back ensures that your ski goggles stay in place, even in fast-paced sections.
