Everest Freeride Mips combines total comfort, low weight and high security, making it a popular helmet for snowboarders and skiers alike. For the 21/22 season it also has twICEme integrated into the helmet. twICEme is a digital concept that makes the user’s vital health information available in case of an accident. Activating the integrated hardware (the functional symbol on the helmet) with a smartphone enables more correct medical decisions in case of an accident. The vital information that the user registers includes medical information, emergency contacts, specific identifiers, insurance information and updated coordinates. The helmet utilizes a Dual in-mold construction. Polycarbonate outer shell, EPS foam on the inside and the MIPS security system. MIPS has been developed to give additional protection against rotational movements that are transferred to the brain during angled impacts. When installed into a helmet, the MIPS security system has proven to lower the rotational movement by redirecting energies and forces which would otherwise be transferred to the brain. Soft fleece inner lining, size adjustment by the neck for a personalized fit, padded ear protection and a padded chinstrap for superior comfort all day on the slopes.
