M Razor Jacket from Everest is a puffy, channel-quilted autumn and winter jacket with warming TCS Insuloft – a synthetic padding made from 100% recycled polyester with down-like properties. The outer fabric is wind and waterproof with a water column of 10,000 mm, but without taped seams, which means the jacket can handle some precipitation but not extended periods of heavy rain or snow. At the front, there is a wind flap inside the zipper that stops cold air from penetrating and also protects other garments from getting caught in the zipper. For extra comfort, the wind flap at the top is lined with soft, brushed tricot that protects the chin from chafing, and the pockets are partially lined with the same material for a warmer feel. The jacket has an adjustable hood, four zippered pockets – two on the chest and two on the sides – as well as an inner pocket without a zipper. Additionally, the side pockets have reflective bands that can be unfolded when needed. The sleeve ends can be adjusted with Velcro straps and have an internal elastic cuff with thumbholes that seal tightly, keep the warmth in, and provide extra protection if you are without gloves. The hem of the jacket can also be adjusted to fit snugly and keep the cold out. The jacket is 3-in-1 compatible. A fastening at the back of the neck allows you to attach a thinner lightweight jacket or vest underneath this jacket. This allows you to wear the garments together in different ways and extend their use over a larger part of the season. The garment's water-repellent surface treatment is free from PFAS.
