Lightweight padded overtrousers for children, with wind- and waterproof outer fabric, good breathability and fully taped waterproof seams. The trousers have pre-shaped knees and an adjustable drawstring waist for a better fit. The trouser legs have reflective features, and are reinforced with a strong material at the knees and seat for better protection against wear and tear. The trousers also have elasticated cuffs for protection against rain and wind, as well as adjustable elasticated straps that fit under the child’s boots to hold the trousers in place. The trousers also have the clever Extend feature, which means the legs can be lengthened by up to one whole size. The size is increased by unpicking the red seam on the inside of the ankle cuffs. The garment is made without any environmentally damaging fluorocarbons, and both the outer fabric and inner lining are coloured using energy-saving Solution Dye technology.
