The Hike Tunnel 2 from Everest is a lightweight tunnel tent for two people. It is suitable for use during three seasons, and is ideal for hiking trips. The outer tent is made with silicone-treated 20D polyamide with ripstop, with a water column of 5,000 mm. The silicone treatment makes the tent even more water-resistant and more quick-drying. The floor is also made with silicone-treated polyamide with ripstop. This features slightly stronger 30D quality, with a water column of 10,000 mm. The outer tent features a spacious abside, which is perfect for storing bags and equipment, or for spending time in during rainy days. The abside also has a detachable floor that provides protection against dirt, and a washing line in the roof for drying damp clothing. The inner tent measures 130x220 cm with a height of 95 cm, which means that you can sit comfortably inside the tent. Both the outer and inner tent have double doors, including an inner door of mesh material, enabling both better ventilation and protection against insects and mosquitoes. The door of the inner tent is D-shaped and features a two-way zip, allowing you to decide how far you want the door to be open. The outer and inner tents also feature opening ventilation panels with mosquito nets. The pre-bent arch poles are made of 7001 aluminium in seven sections. All three arches are of the same length, which not only ensures a spacious interior, but also makes it easier to erect, as you will never need to think about which arch fits in which channel. The V-shaped tent pegs are also made of aluminium (6061) and have been designed to be pulled up with greater ease.
